Jill and Gary West purchased the Quail Rock property in 2020, drawn to the quiet expanse of Valle Vista and the estate having some vines and facilities already established on the land.
Since then, they have carefully restored the vineyard, the surrounding infrastructure, the tasting room, the wine-processing area, and the outdoor spaces — guided by respect for the property’s history and the character of the high desert.
